Your new role

As Consumer Marketing Manager, you will lead the affiliate’s consumer marketing agenda – translating clinical evidence and consumer insights into bold, locally relevant campaigns that drive growth and better patient outcomes. You will operate in a highly competitive, fast-moving environment where creativity, digital fluency and speed matter as much as strategic thinking.

 

Your day-to-day will include:

- Developing and executing the affiliate’s consumer marketing strategy, aligned with commercial objectives and desired patient outcomes

- Leading brand planning and activation across the portfolio, partnering closely with the wider commercial team

- Localizing global strategies into creative, culturally resonant assets that meet Malaysian patient needs

- Translating clinical evidence and real-world data into compelling, consumer-friendly messaging – with scientific integrity and full regulatory compliance

- Driving segmentation, persona development and journey mapping in partnership with the customer engagement team

- Leveraging market research, consumer insights and competitive intelligence – including social listening – to identify growth opportunities and win share of voice

- Managing third-party agencies and patient programmes to uncover behaviours, needs and barriers to treatment, and turn insights into action

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a strategic, digitally savvy marketer who is energised by a competitive market and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team. You will bring:

- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related discipline

- Minimum 6 years’ experience in consumer marketing, ideally with exposure to healthcare, pharmaceuticals or healthcare-focused FMCG

- Demonstrated success developing and delivering integrated consumer marketing strategies with measurable commercial outcomes, including proven digital marketing experience and experience leading product launches and lifecycle marketing

- Strong strategic planning and commercial acumen, coupled with excellent project and stakeholder management skills

- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging consumer messaging
