About the department
You will be part of the Cardiometabolic Sales department at Novo Nordisk Malaysia. Our department is devoted to promoting and selling our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team, focused on developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The position
In this role, you will develop strategic account plans and work closely with the Sales Director to shape the overall Cardiometabolic strategy, establishing strategic corporate partnerships with key pharmacy groups and telehealth partners. This role is pivotal in driving awareness and engagement on diabetes and obesity, ultimately contributing to Novo Nordisk’s mission of improving lives.

Your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Design and execute cardiometabolic management programs for major pharmacy groups and telehealth partners, aligning with Novo Nordisk’s strategic goals for our products 
  • Develop a detailed roadmap and tactical plan for implementing key projects, adapting actions as needed to meet evolving business demands and drive successful execution.
  • Create and manage product marketing plans that align with the cardiometabolic strategy, including proposing and overseeing a marketing budget to ensure high ROI.
  • Lead awareness campaigns and continuous medical education to raise knowledge about diabetes and obesity among pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, coordinating with sales teams on regular visit plans and collaborating with creative agencies to ensure effective promotional campaigns.


Qualifications

  • A university degree in a relevant field, such as Medical, Business, or related disciplines; an advanced degree (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with 2-3 years in a key account and product management role preferred.
