You will be part of the Project Office, KFA (Koriyama Factory), reporting to the Process Team Manager. Our team is responsible for the design, requirement consideration, and installation of washing equipment for tablet contact parts at KFA. We are also involved in validation processes, including cleaning validation, and promote packaging line installations to fit future opportunities and products. We strive for high compliance with all internal and external regulations and continuously seek to introduce new technology.

 

The position
As a Washing Equipment Engineer, your responsibilities will involve overseeing the conceptualization, installation, and maintenance of washing equipment at KFA, ensuring compliance with regulations and readiness for new product launches. Your main tasks will include:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish the concept and requirements for washing equipment.
  • Review design specifications and estimates from suppliers and oversee the installation of washing equipment at the Koriyama factory.
  • Develop maintenance plans and transfer knowledge to the Engineering & Maintenance team, while managing stakeholders, especially equipment suppliers and agent companies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits or inspections, while also maintaining the validation and readiness for new product launches.
  • Identify and eliminate hazards during installation, ensuring safety and reporting any concerning situations on the shop floor.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Work experience as an equipment engineer in manufacturing company.
  • Experience in cleaning validation and machine installation.
  • Business-level English proficiency, both verbal and written (TOEIC ≥ 600).
  • Strong communication and social skills, and being analytical, logical, and accountable
