Shop Floor Operator

Key Responsibilities

  1. Executing manufacturing processes required to supply finished products of high quality into Japanese market in accordance with a set of control standard codes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  2. Executing manufacturing processes as per order and with high attentions to safety
  3. Maintaining 5S in the shop floor and continuously improving productivity, processes and product quality through Kaizen and CLEAN® activities


Main Tasks

  1. Perform 100% manual visual inspection of bulk products (injectables and vials) imported from overseas production sites to remove defectives
  2. Perform, with dedicated inspection machine, 100% visual inspection of bulk tablets imported from DK site to eliminate defectives
  3. Perform secondary pack of manually inspected products with packaging materials in various packaging lines
  4. Perform blister and secondary pack of visually inspected tablets by using blister machine and cartoner on the dedicated pack line
  5. Perform batch changeover which includes preparation, clean-up, cleaning, line clearance

 

Qualifications

High school graduate at minimum.

More than 5 year experience in blister and secondary packaging is pharmaceutical industry is a must and experience in working the shift is preferred.

Teamwork and communication skills, ownership, collaboration, proactiveness, kaizen and innovative mindset, adaptability to change.
