The Project Office is devoted to ensuring that construction projects proceed as designed and handle any changes or issues that arise. We promote building expansions that fit future opportunities and products, always seeking to introduce new technology. The job is located at our Koriyama Factory (KFA), where we foster a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.

 

The position
As a Senior Construction Engineer at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Develop concepts and requests for KFA building expansion, and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Create detailed timelines with suppliers and Novo Nordisk Headquarter, effectively managing project milestones.
  • Oversee construction process management and establish maintenance plans for the Engineering & Maintenance team.
  • Manage stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and act as a subject matter expert during audits or inspections.
  • Ensure new buildings, facilities, and equipment are well qualified and validated, while identifying and addressing safety concerns during construction, and preparing for new product launches according to defined milestones.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience as construction engineer for manufacturing plant.
  • Skill in construction and large-scale improvement activities.
  • Supplier management experience with strong communication and social skills, along with analytical and logical mindset.
  • Business level of English proficiency, verbal or written (TOEIC ≥ 750 at minimum).
