About the department

The Project Office at the Koriyama Factory is responsible for ensuring high levels of compliance with all internal and external regulations/requirements in all project activities. The team is involved in facility expansion, including equipment design from the perspective of validation professionals. We perform regular inspections and reviews internally to ensure project members adhere to quality policies. Our team assists with the development of processes and procedures for project-related activities, living up to the Novo Nordisk Way (NNWay), Essentials, and Triple Bottom Line principles. The job is based in Koriyama, Fukushima, where you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment devoted to excellence and innovation.

The position
As a Project Validation Professional at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Collaborate with the project team to establish quality/validation documentation aligned with global requirements and implement validation.
• Conduct or assist with regulatory and quality training sessions.
• Review design and documentation from suppliers.
• Manage quality documents.
• Act or support as a Validation professional during audits or inspections, ensuring new buildings, facilities, and equipment are qualified and/or validated as necessary, maintaining their validated state through a considered maintenance plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 2 years of experience in quality systems.
• Knowledge of Validation (VPL, DR, DQ, IOP/Q, Risk assessment) and familiarity with Japanese regulations (GMP etc.), ISO9001, PIC/S, CSV, and general Quality Management Systems.
• Strong communication and social skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese and English communication.
