At the Koriyama Factory, our mission is to ensure that facility, building, and MHS systems are always ready for production. We focus on stabilizing and improving these systems while proactively collaborating and coordinating with stakeholders within the plant. Our team is responsible for the maintenance, modification, and updating of facility, building, and material handling systems (MHS) systems based on the annual maintenance program. We also implement energy-saving activities for buildings and facilities and handle the installation and validation of air conditioning equipment in external warehouses. Located in Koriyama, our fast-paced and dynamic environment is home to a dedicated team committed to excellence.

 

The position
As a Facility Professional, you will:

  • Inspect buildings, facilities, and MHS, ensuring energy-efficient part replacements.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers or vendors on technical issues, providing on-site technical support when necessary.
  • Ensure regular maintenance activities are in place according to planned programs on a daily, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual basis.
  • Procure necessary goods and repair and maintenance (R&M) services from external vendors, prepare for energy-related inquiries from Novo Nordisk.
  • Prepare and update utility system validation and relevant documentation, implementing new or modified processes and performing validation in accordance with relevant local and global procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • High school or university graduate (preference for degrees in engineering or related fields).
  • More than 5 years of experience in facility work.
  • Experience in installment or expansion project, repairing and maintenance.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, ownership and leadership capabilities, collaboration and proactiveness, kaizen and innovative mindset, adaptability to change, self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Advanced level of Japanese proficiency.
