The position

As a Senior Manager, Business Operations, you will:

  • Lead and optimise workforce planning and capacity management, aligning with global strategies.
  • Drive clinical performance management through prioritised metrics and local industry insights.
  • Provide strategic oversight of vendor relationships, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight.
  • Oversee clinical trial site payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing and compliance with budgets and policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for local Legal, Ethics, and Compliance initiatives.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making and performance management for the Clinical Development Centre (CDC).
  • Lead project management of key initiatives within workforce, productivity, and performance management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with external regulations and internal policies.

 

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, Health Sciences, or related field (advanced degree such as Master’s, MBA, or PhD preferred).
  • 8–15+ years of relevant industry experience in Clinical Trials, business planning and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, Clinical Trials matrix drivers, and market dynamics.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; able to extract actionable insights from large datasets that will ensure changes based on data driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed environments and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Experience in strategic executive coordination or leading cross-organizational projects and familiarity with local external industry trends related to performance and productivity will be an asset.
