About the department 

The Obesity Business Unit is responsible for setting local Obesity portfolio strategy and for driving key marketing activities amongst Health Care Professionals and PwO. You will be a part of energetic and driven professionals and act to improve the daily lives of patients dealing with Obesity. You will cooperate with the Obesity Field Sales Manager, Medical department and MAPA (Market Access & Public Affairs) department to implement key activities to develop and grow the Obesity market. This position represents Novo Nordisk with the goal of maximizing sales and positioning Novo Nordisk as the leading company in Obesity care.

The job

Novo Nordisk Israel is looking for an experienced professional Product Manager to work in Israel in the Obesity business unit.
The position is reporting to the Obesity Business Unit Director.
As Obesity Business Development Manager you will be responsible of development & execution of business plan for new target audiences, creating & executing new ways for Obesity education to new target HCP’s and for more patients living with obesity. You will screen and map the potential of new customers within the local market, and their needs, objections and plan mitigation tactics. You will identify and establish connections with KOLs and stakeholders. You will ensure local sales and marketing strategies and tactics are fully implemented.
You will engage in driving new social media and public events to create patient awareness for Obesity, and help drive the development and growth of the Obesity business in Novo Nordisk Israel. You will be a key player in the Obesity brand team strategy with the Obesity Business Unit Director and facilitate launch and sales execution as well as follow-up in the marketing programs with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Challenges:

  • Develop strong portfolio strategy.
  • Create 3 years forecasting in new specialties.
  • Design and execute the strategic plan in collaboration and shared responsibilities of the brand team.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
  • Establish and maintaining relations with KOLs and stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative interactions with HCP’s.
  • Participation and management of product symposia.
  • Responsibility for marketing budget.
  • Working in close relations with NN global, business area, sales, medical and finance.



  • B.Sc. or other relevant bachelor degree.
  • M.B.A in Business Management– an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience as Product Manager – a must.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry – a must.
  • High English and Hebrew skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork spirit.
