About the Department

 

Legal, Compliance and Quality Department provides legal and Compliance guidance, advice and support to management members and departments in the Israeli affiliate as well as overseeing the Quality Management System locally.

 

The Position

 

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal, Compliance and Quality Department. As Legal Counsel at Novo Nordisk you will work together with the line of business and support their business strategic priorities and activities.

 

The role of Legal Counsel is to:

  • Provide advice and strategic support to the entire Novo Nordisk affiliate on a range of legal and compliance matters;
  • Serve as the main point of contact on Personal Data Protection issues;
  • Provide advice and support on various legal issues including antitrust, labour law and general corporate law support (corporate governance, transactions, etc.).  
  • Manage agreements and business activities that comply with the company policies.
  • Provide legal support to the different stakeholder within the company, both in Israel and abroad.

 

As a Legal Counsel you will work in our main office in Kfar-Saba and you will report to the affiliate’s Legal, Compliance and Quality Director.

 

Qualifications

 

To be eligible for this role, you need to hold a LL.B. and be fluent in Hebrew and English.

Other requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a leading law firm or in a similar role in a pharmaceutical company;
  • Proven experience and proficiency in handling personal data protection matters as well as proficiency in local legislation and GDPR (is a must).
  • Commercial experience (contracts, corporate governance etc.)
  • Strong can-do attitude, the candidate will need to be trusted and detailed oriented.
  • Very good communication skills.
