Key Account Engagement Manager
Kfar Saba, Israel, IL
Step into a role where your relationships shape national healthcare outcomes. As our primary link to senior leadership across Israel's health funds, you will drive strategic partnerships that expand patient access to life-changing treatments in diabetes, obesity and beyond.
Your new role
As Key Account Engagement Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison to senior leadership within Israel's HMOs, engaging executive and senior clinical stakeholders to drive strategic partnerships, optimise patient access to Novo Nordisk products, and lead the implementation of large-scale initiatives across the health funds. Most of your time will be spent in the field, building trust and momentum with the people who shape patient care at a national level.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders in HMO managements – including medical managers, head pharmacists and clinical pharmacists, head nutritionists, head nurses and decision-makers – to deepen engagement and build long-term partnerships
- Serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing customer concerns and needs with timely resolution and clear communication
- Conceiving, designing and coordinating national-level intervention programmes that advance patient outcomes and access across health funds
- Partnering with HMO management to design and deliver innovative projects, integrating Novo Nordisk digital solutions within health fund digital ecosystems in collaboration with internal and external teams
- Reviewing and mapping relevant quality indicators to ensure alignment between those measures and Novo Nordisk initiatives
- Promoting stakeholder awareness and delivering targeted educational activities to rein-force clinical understanding
- Monitoring market trends, payer policies and reimbursement dynamics, translating in-sights into strategies that sustain competitive advantage
Your new department
In Israel, you will sit within the Market Access and Public Affairs (MAPA) department. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of access, clinical engagement and innovation – working closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical and Supply Chain colleagues to ensure our strategy lands meaningfully with the partners who matter most.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and proactive professional who thrives at the interface of strategy, relationships and innovation. To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field; a master’s degree or additional qualifications in business or healthcare management is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years of experience in Market Access, Key Account Management, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Product Specialist, Product Manager, or Sales Manager, with proven experience working with HMO headquarters, is required. Knowledge of the obesity and diabetes therapeutic areas is an advantage.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing market access strategies, including pricing and National Health Basket (NHB) reimbursement processes, is an advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate pricing, reimbursement and health economic considerations to maximise the up-take of therapeutic solutions
- Advanced product knowledge and the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs, combined with the independence to handle complex situations and the adaptability to respond to changing market dynamics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage without authority across cross-functional teams, and a collaborative, resourceful mindset that turns constraints into opportunities
