The Position

As a Financial & Planning Analyst, you will work in our Finance & Operations department, reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.

You will be responsible for developing business insights and intelligence for Israel, providing value, and adding insights through data analysis for better business outcomes.

As your main accountabilities you will:  

  • Close cooperate with Financial & Planning Analyst manager to ensure strong cross functional alignment and smooth process and outcomes.
  • Analyse market data and come up with value-adding insights for forecasting and budget meetings.
  • Support business with cost controll and to optimize forecasting exercises.
  • Define, implement, and provide guidance with regards to the business intelligence & analytics journey.
  • Support for better data visualisation/analytics through digital tools (dashboards).



In order to be considered for the position you should have a Relevant academic degree within business (Economy, Industrial Engineering etc.). At least 3 years of working experience in similar positions.Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with pharmaceutical sales, marketing, medical and market access functions. Ability to translate insights and datasets into marketing/sales requirements. Other requirements are:

  • Qualifications in Qlik / BI-tools (considered a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with a structured and transparent way of working.
  • Proficient level in Office Excel.
  • Fluency in English- Spoken and written.

The Financial Planning and Analysis department is part of the Finance & Operations organisation in Novo Nordisk Israel, alongside Commercial Supply Chain, Accounting & Taxation, Digital Data & IT.
