External Communication Manager

The Position

As an External Communication Manager you will hold the key responsibilities for implementing, managing and driving affiliate-wide Communication Strategies to ensure sustainable access of products into the market by developing and leveraging strong relationships with the targeted stakeholders. You will directly report to Senior Director Market Access and Public Affairs. 

 

Your main accountabilities will be: 

 

  • Driving Media relations and disease awareness, supporting Product communication/PR and change communication.
  • Ensuring cross-functional collaboration with affiliate departments (Marketing, Medical, Sales etc.) on relevant projects and to share relevant Communications insights and initiatives.
  • Monitoring, shaping, and responding to local external policy and regulations to support market access and relevant business interests.
  • Enhance and protect the reputation of the company with relevant stakeholders through strategic public activities such as National Health communications.
  • Leading campaigns to raise awareness about diseases to the general public


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

 

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in implementing and driving communication strategies, including media relations and stakeholder management within global company.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical company would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of government affairs and policy making processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Being fluent in English and Hebrew.
  • Our offices located in Kfar Saba. This is a hybrid position which requires your presence in the office three days a week.

The Market Access and Public Affairs department in Israel is responsible for implementing and driving the affiliate-wide strategies related to Access, Prices, Government affairs, Public affairs and Communication. We work closely with local stakeholders to shape policies and regulations that support market access and improve patient access to our products. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the reputation of Novo Nordisk and ensuring the success of our business in Israel.
