Lead clinical trials that bring life-changing treatments to patients across Israel – where your strategic vision shapes how we deliver tomorrow's therapies today.

Your new role

As CDC Therapeutic Area Senior Manager, you will drive clinical trial performance across your assigned therapeutic area, combining strategic oversight with operational excellence. You'll be the bridge between global ambition and local execution, leading portfolio planning, site selection, and recruitment strategy while building high-performing teams that deliver results for patients.

Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering strategic therapeutic area insights to regional leadership, identifying trial design challenges, recruitment risks, and performance issues with actionable mitigation plans
  • Leading trial portfolio planning and execution from site activation through patient enrollment, ensuring smooth delivery against ambitious timelines
  • Providing functional leadership and people development for Trial Managers, Clinical Operations Managers, CRAs and Clinical Trial Assistants across your therapeutic area
  • Adapting and executing recruitment strategy within Israel, monitoring performance against targets and escalating insights on capacity and challenges to regional stakeholders
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Medical Managers, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Market Access teams to align on trial priorities and execution
  • Ensuring quality oversight and compliance across all clinical trial activities in line with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and internal standards
  • Partnering with Key Opinion Leaders, site staff, and patient advocacy organizations to strengthen trial feasibility and patient engagement

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a proven clinical operations leader who thrives in complex, matrix environments and can translate strategic intent into operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • 10+ years of experience in Clinical Operations roles with demonstrated strategic accountability and progression including direct people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field (master’s or PhD preferred)
  • Experience working for an international pharmaceutical company or CRO on clinical trials involving investigational medicinal products; experience in device trials alone is not applicable.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams across functions, with strong expertise in coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Deep understanding of therapeutic area landscapes, clinical development processes, and regulatory frameworks (ICH-GCP, local regulations)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across complex, multi-stakeholder environments without direct authority
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to synthesize complex data into actionable insights that inform decision-making
  • Expertise in portfolio planning, recruitment strategy optimization, and risk mitigation for clinical trials
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Hebrew proficiency is an advantage
  • Commitment to patient-centred trial design and fostering diversity in clinical research
