Your new role 
As a Quality Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Implement and maintain Novo Nordisk Quality Management System (QMS) and a compliant local quality system in Pakistan to ensure product quality and inspection readiness.
  • Serve as the main QRP (Quality Responsible Person)/product warrantor contact for distributor and local health authority, handling product release and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead audits (internal and external), follow up on CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), monitor quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and manage Quality Risk Management (QRM) to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Oversee repackaging/local marking, sample handling, qualification of third-party storage/distribution/transport, and approve related quality agreements.
  • Provide quality training, advice, and communication to affiliate staff and act as QA (Quality Assurance) approver for GxP (Good Practice)-impacting IT systems with local system owners.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Pharm.D or degree in health sciences (e.g., biochemistry, biology, microbiology) with QA (Quality Assurance) experience and broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and a strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience training and developing employees on quality topics, with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and GxP (Good Practice) requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply QA (Quality Assurance) principles across activities such as audits, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) follow-up, product release, and Quality Risk Management (QRM).
