Your new role
As a National Trade Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Design and implement national trade strategies across key account channels in collaboration with Marketing and other cross‑functional teams.
- Define role charters, KPIs, targets, and resource allocation models to optimize trade performance and productivity.
- Own and monitor national Trade KPIs, review regional performance, identify gaps, and deploy corrective actions while facilitating best‑practice sharing.
- Identify and develop new growth engines, including large networks, chains, influencers, and innovative trade models.
- Build frontline manager capabilities in coaching, performance management, and execution excellence.
- Design and deliver training frameworks for trade teams, including pharmacy and execution excellence.
- Lead strategic partnerships and stakeholder management, including distributors, Different Trade channels, and platform partners (e.g., Aesthetics, Nutritionists, Pharmacists, where applicable).

Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
- 10+ years of commercial experience within FMCG/pharma/healthcare, including national trade/channel management and key account exposure. Ideally, this experience should be from the consumer industry, as that would be most relevant for our needs.
- Proven ability to build and execute national trade strategy, using consumer mindset/consumer insights to define KPIs and translate market learning into measurable commercial impact.
- Strong distributor, and partner management skills, with confident negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated people leadership and capability-building (coaching, performance management) with strong analytical and communication skills.
