Your new role

As HR Business Partner, you'll be the strategic people partner for the Pakistan affiliate of Novo Nordisk. You'll translate business priorities into meaningful people initiatives while serving as the trusted advisor on all employee lifecycle matters.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary P&O contact for Pakistan employees, managing all HR processes from job offers and onboarding to salary reviews and Short-Term Incentive programs
  • Translating business strategies into actionable People & Organisation plans that drive performance and engagement
  • Designing and delivering local Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives that foster an inclusive culture rooted in the Novo Nordisk Way
  • Building organizational capability by facilitating Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning processes
  • Leading internal communications and employer branding initiatives that strengthen team cohesion across multiple geographies
  • Coaching managers and teams through complex employee relations matters, providing guidance that balances business objectives with people development
  • Supporting flexible and international ways of working as activities span multiple locations and time zones

The Pakistan affiliate is a part of the Business Area Middle East and Central Asia (BAMECA), in

Region Emerging Markets (REM). The Pakistan affiliate consists of more than 150 people highly skilled and engaged professionals showing remarkable results. Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who brings strategic thinking, hands‑on execution, and the ability to thrive in an international, matrix environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (master’s/MBA preferred) and 6+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years partnering with business leaders
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong facilitation, presentation, planning, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to translate business challenges into HR priorities and initiatives aligned with the People & Organisation agenda
  • Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and a results‑driven, agile mindset
  • Demonstrated capability to build trusted relationships, coach stakeholders, and lead change effectively through ambiguity
