Your new role

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform local Record‑to‑Report activities for Pakistan and support CoE operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level‑2 accounting issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Support consolidation activities for external reporting, including the Annual Report.
  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor reconciliations, issue resolution, and collaboration with procurement and LoBs.
  • Handle accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely TR collections and proper security deposit account management.
  • Execute treasury activities such as manual bank payments, corporate card administration, and bank reconciliation support.
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset and leasing data, support GBS processing, and drive offshoring of standard activities.

The Finance Operations CoE – BAMECA & BAAF team is at the heart of Novo Nordisk's financial operations in Pakistan. Our team is responsible for managing the accounting process for Record to Report activities, including local journal entries, month-end close, and consolidation for external reporting. Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who can bring the following skills and experiences to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
  • Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley) and external audit processes
  • Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and technically proficient finance professional, skilled in financial regulations, problem‑solving, accuracy in reporting, and effective time management
  • Collaborative and adaptable communicator with high integrity, able to work across teams, support audits, convey complex financial information clearly, and adjust to evolving regulatory and organisational needs
