The position  
The Vice President & Process Owner holds overall, enterprise-wide responsibility and owns the Global cGMP processes and standards for Facilities, Maintenance, and Utility across our entire production landscape. 

 

You will be leading a team of 2-6 colleagues in the cGMP Unit, and you will champion and lead a crucial network of Novo Nordisk Process Managers and Area Process Managers located on-site across the organization.  

 

The task for the team is to inject simplicity and intelligence, work smarter, and do what makes sense, in the right way, yet in a competitive and user-friendly and safe way. 

 

As a Process Owner at Novo Nordisk, you provide leadership and direction to ensure alignment and operationalization of the strategy, and you lead process network groups to drive success across the areas involved. Furthermore, your team manages risks associated with process signals, and you participate in high level risk committees to address business-critical issues.  

 

The position requires a high degree of independence but also collaboration in a highly complex stakeholder landscape, cross-functional, and cross-country.  

 

Curiosity, innovation, new thinking, long-term strategic outlook, staying up to date and staying on the forefront when it comes to trends and industry, authority standards, within the area of responsibility are all ingredients of this role. Therefore, a typical week will be anywhere from shopfloor activity to participation in internal networking activities or external industry meetings. Shopfloor activities are expected 3 days a week at sites in Denmark (Sjælland mainly) and occasionally to global sites. 

 

You will be reporting to the Corporate Vice President of the Global cGMP Unit and be a member of the leadership team of the Global cGMP Unit. 

Position is in Denmark. 
 

Qualifications  

We believe you have some of the following qualifications:  

  • MSc in Engineering, Pharmacy; Business or similar relevant academic background   

  • More than 10 years of in-depth cGMP knowledge specifically within Facilities, Maintenance, and Utility and related equipment in a pharmaceutical production landscape. This expertise is necessary.  

  • 5-10 years of solid leadership experience with a proven track record of success in building high performance collaborative teams  

  • To be successful we believe you have authentic desire of "Shop floor and Gemba" mindset to be present at “the place where things happen,” while listening and learning from colleagues  

  • Ability to build strategic and professional networks with Process Roles across the Value Chain and navigating of a senior and complex stakeholder landscape while delivering results in line with Novo Nordisk WAY  

  • An ability to collaborate in an engaging and inspiring way, acting as a true team player who supports and plays others better   

  • A curios mind combined with high level of analytical skills and highly motivated for innovation and continuous improvements of processes  

  • Fluency in English, written and verbal

The Global cGMP team is a newly created unit in Novo Nordisk and together with your teammates you will be responsible for setting the right strategic directions for cGMP standard throughout our global manufacturing. We are responsible for translating cGMP requirements into simple workflows that always meet the expectations of authorities, that show respect and safety for patients and employees.  

Through process management, we help ensure that processes in operation are simple, stable, in compliance, and continuously improved.
