Do you dream about kick-starting a career at Novo Nordisk?

The Position

As a Technical Supporter, you will join a dynamic team, where your days will be highly varied around pipes, valves, centrifuges, pumps, and columns, as well as all the maintenance and production colleagues that handle them.

Often, your expertise will be needed for problem solving, facilitating the systematic root cause finding, on which we can base corrective and preventive measures. As the position is highly visible, this is an opportunity to gain a large network with contributions to the improved effectiveness of both production and maintenance.

Sometimes, issues cannot be solved inside our team or department, so you will often find yourself working across the organisation, provided with valuable business insights that will be transformed into solid solutions with ambitious and obtainable goals.

Your main focus will be on:

  • Systematic problem solving, supporting process equipment and taking necessary actions to increase productivity on the production line by optimising the maintenance strategies and performance of the equipment.
  • Working with data, the identification of trends, potential and risk through data analysis.
  • Increasing level of online monitoring of equipment integrity and predictive maintenance to take productivity to the next stage.
  • Driving internal development projects to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), maintainability, performance etc.
  • Supporting large scale capacity projects with design and component know-how.

Qualifications

The qualifications we value include having:

  • A bachelor’s degree in technology management and marine engineering, technician with experience with production equipment, or similar.
  • Some experience in System Analysis Program Development (SAP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) production optimisation or operation/maintenance of equipment, in food- or pharma or even oil/gas industries, which is considered a plus.
  • A strong knowledge of automation, refrigeration, pump theory, fluid- and thermodynamics.
  • A thirst for becoming an expert in large machinery and equipment like columns, freeze dryers, hydraulics, pneumatics, centrifuges, pumps and valves, while having mix of technical skills with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English, while having proficiency in Danish (or willingness to learn) would be considered a plus.

As a person, you have a natural interest in solving technical problems, creating lasting improvements for both maintenance and production, while also paying attention to energy and environmental issues. Being great at setting directions and energising people around on the ideas and consequently transforming energy into solid results is essential in the role.

Having great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to create trustful relationships with ease is crucial. Thriving in the exchange of knowledge, while being a good listener, who gathers information that is needed to make a difference with a systematic approach is key to succeed in this position.

We will welcome a colleague who is ready to work within the regulatory demands, where we adhere to as a pharmaceutical production, as well as having the motivation to learn more about it quickly. Join us if you are an energetic and outgoing individual who has an eye on detail and never compromises on quality!

About the Department

In Manufacturing 1 (M1), we produce the core ingredients to most recent Novo Nordisk products. In M1 Maintenance Development, our team includes 16 skilled supporters (primarily marine engineers) with broad expertise, that handle all the technical support needs of both the line and the maintenance department. We spend a lot of time on shop floor support, building relations and making sure that we fully understand the process and equipment that constitute the backbone of our production. Whenever technical issues arise – and preferably before – we facilitate the problem solving and the development of corrective and preventive measures that will allow the production to continue.
