Student Assistant for API M1 Maintenance

We are looking for two new dedicated Student Assistants to support our production activities in API M1 Maintenance in Kalundborg. One will join our team in Black Utility, and one will our team in Maintenance Development.
Your new role
As our new Student Assistants, you will support your colleagues and the management team with a wide range of tasks such as:
- Support production activities with moderate complexity.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Balance work responsibilities with academic commitments.
The position is one day per week.
Your new department
In M1 Black Utility, our team includes 12 highly motivated people (primarily marine engineers and skilled workers) with broad expertise, that ensures a stable and reliable delivery of Black Utilities to the entire factory. We spend a lot of time on shop floor support, building relations and making sure that we fully understand the process and equipment that constitute the backbone of our production. Whenever technical issues arise – and preferably before – we facilitate the problem solving and the development of corrective and preventive measures that will allow the production to continue.
In M1 Maintenance Development, our team includes 10 highly motivated people (primarily marine engineers and skilled workers) with broad expertise, that handle all the technical support needs of both the line and the maintenance department. We spend a lot of time on shop floor support, building relations and making sure that we fully understand the process and equipment that constitute the backbone of our production. Whenever technical issues arise – and preferably before – we facilitate the problem solving and the development of corrective and preventive measures that will allow the production to continue.
Your skills & qualifications
We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:
- You are currently enrolled in a university or bachelor's programme such as maskinmester, engineer or similar field.
- You have a basic technical understanding and an interest in learning more.
- It is an advantage if you are familiar with production activities or related tasks.
- You are proficient in English.
As a person you work effectively within a team, contributing to shared goals and fostering a supportive and cooperative work environment. You are capable of identifying challenges in production activities and proposing practical solutions, demonstrating critical thinking and initiative. You display a strong willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills, both in academic studies and on-the-job training, to enhance personal and professional growth.
