Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Large Projects are crucial to Novo Nordisk’s growth. If you want to step into the heart of our largest-ever investment projects and maximise the impact of our leadership team, this role could be for you. This is a unique chance to work closely with senior management and drive capital project strategy and execution, while accelerating your career in a fast-paced environment.
This is an on-site position that requires your presence at the office most days.
Your new position
As a Strategy Partner in API Large Projects, you will partner closely with the Project Vice President (PVP) and the project management team. You’ll lead the consolidation of project data, own executive-level reporting to governance forums, and drive cross-functional strategic actions and alignment.
You will be responsible for:
- Close collaboration and sparring with the PVP in all aspects of project delivery
- Ownership of executive-level reporting to various governance bodies, incl. ad-hoc analyses
- Project management of strategic initiatives within the project and across the portfolio
- Development of analyses in close collaboration with the Investment Project Office (IPO), involving consolidation of project schedule, cost and risk data to drive decisions
- Stakeholder management across Novo Nordisk, including project, production, and externals
Furthermore, you will support API Large Projects management team and report to the Associate Director of the executive office, joining a team of talented and engaged strategy partners.

You will be joining PS API Large Projects, anchored in Novo Nordisk CMC&PS, which is an area with the responsibility to design, plan and build major API expansion projects across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We build and design our future API facilities as multi-product facilities with flexibility to accommodate future processes and display state-of-the-art technology and working environment. We drive world class execution of capacity projects, and together we are building the future of Novo Nordisk.
Your skills and qualifications

- A strategic thinker with proven ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- A structured and analytical problem solver, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to grasp the bigger picture
- Excellent at time management and planning
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- A strong communicator, able to translate complex business challenges into clear insights and recommendations
- A great collaborator with outstanding stakeholder management skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A master's degree in engineering, finance, business administration, or a similar field
- Minimum 2 years of experience from a comparable role, such as management consulting, strategic planning or serving as a business partner to senior management
- Experience in project/program management is an advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken English
