In Novo Nordisk we are investigating in state-of-the-art new API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) manufacturing facilities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals.

The key design principle is to implement the best-in-class design standards from other fermentation facilities. Thus, you must exercise strong leadership to keep the team focused on implementing known solutions as well as developing new design solutions where relevant. You will take active part in building a competent user-organisation, integrating with engineering partners, and collaborating with contractors while supervising their activities. You manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency. 

 

The Position
As Work Package Owner you will be an active member of the project and interact with both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead a key portion of the project, and be a central part of the project leadership team with a range of tasks such as:
•    Securing project execution of a critical project within portfolio
•    Interface between engineering firms, subcontractors, vendors and Novo Nordisk user team to secure the right technical solutions
•    Drive milestones and schedule completion together with project stakeholders
•    Lead the user team and work closely with existing production facilities and other projects in the programme to ensure alignment
•    Manage and communicate with senior level stakeholders to secure necessary decisions and sponsorship
•    Secure safety-first mindset through close collaboration with Construction Management and Safety Team when in construction

Qualifications
We imagine that you are working in a project management within the process or industrial sector and have significant project management experience.
Moreover, to succeed in this role you have:
•    +5 years of experience, delivering projects and coordinating across broad stakeholder landscapes preferably within pharma
•    Experience in an owner organization, working with engineering firms, contractors & manufacturers
•    Good understanding of the Project Management toolbox
•    Leadership skills
•    Knowledge within GMP / execution of validation activities is needed
•    Confident communicator, comfortably addressing operators, managers and senior stakeholders
•    Professional proficiency in both Danish and English

As a person you are reliable, loyal, structured and can motivate a team to deliver according to project objectives. You can lead through others and set clear objectives for a project team. You enjoy working according to tight deadlines and being a part of a dynamic team. You are self-motivated, work independently and used to think steps ahead of others.
