The Position

As a Senior Packaging Professional, you will be welcomed into a team of 15 within the Technical Support & Validation team in the Finished Products department. You will collaborate together with the equipment responsible and the skilled workers, taking preventive actions as well as driving improvement initiatives and optimizations across the Finished Production.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the stability of our production equipment

  • Implement improvements initiatives based on data, we are using POInT

  • Develop skilled workers and technicians’ knowledge

  • Systematic problem solving, drive optimal performance of the filling equipment and define strategy for reliable line setup

  • Completing documentation utilizing a high level of detail

 

You will be part of a larger network of people and can expect to collaborate with many different stakeholders at different levels a across the organization.

 

You will join the journey of ensuring technical stability and world class operation efficiency, increasing the capacity of our Finished Production lines to support sites globally!

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree within Mechanical Engineering or similar. You may also be considered if you have technician/craftsman background with at least 2 years of extensive experience in parts manufacturing.

  • Packaging experience preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing process

  • GMP experience

  • Experience with handling suppliers is regarded as advantageous

  • Good communication skills in English, Danish will be a plus

 

You have an understanding how mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning and tolerances can influence manufacturing process and have an experience using this knowledge to improve performance.

 

As a person, you have a focus on quality, with a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions for technical challenges. You are able to use excellent communication skills to build relations cross functionally and globally.

 

About the Department

Injectable Finished Products (IFP) plays a key role in delivering products to our patients worldwide and is a strategic global network with production sites in US, China, Brazil, France, and Denmark. With approximately 6.300 employees, IFP is a truly global organization with capacity to deliver products globally. IFP holds the responsibility to produce products for launches of all new diabetes products and for high volume and high efficiency production for all continents in the world. In Finished production in Kalundborg, we are 270 employees, responsible to assembly and packaging of obesity and diabetic products on our fully automatic production lines.
