Senior IT Validation Professional

Kalundborg, Denmark, Onsite

A new production facility at our Kalundborg site is moving from project into operation. That transition creates a clear need: ensuring that IT validation and compliance are not simply handed over but translated into a sustainable way of working in daily operations.

As Senior IT Validation Professional, you will help shape how IT validation and compliance are managed across the factory’s IT organisation. You will work across IT, production and project stakeholders to challenge, clarify and embed the right level of compliance as the organisation matures.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An academic degree within IT, engineering, quality or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within IT compliance, IT validation or quality.
  • Hands-on understanding of validation activities and how compliance requirements translate into day-to-day IT operations.
  • Experience driving improvements or compliance initiatives across stakeholders, rather than only executing predefined validation tasks.
  • The confidence to challenge existing approaches and assess whether documentation, processes and controls are fit for purpose.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to create clarity across technical and business stakeholders.

Useful, but not essential:

  • Experience from a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Experience with project-to-operations transition, ramp-up or a new production facility.
  • Experience with business-critical IT or operational technology systems in production.

What you’ll do

You will help build and anchor a consistent approach to IT validation and compliance across the factory’s IT organisation.

Your work will include:

  • Support the transition of validation and compliance activities from the project organisation into stable operations.
  • Assess whether documentation, processes and handovers are ready to be accepted into operations.
  • Translate internal, external and regulatory requirements into clear actions for local IT operations and system managers.
  • Drive and anchor compliance initiatives, including audit readiness, deviations, procedures and related activities.
  • Support validation planning and compliance assessments when changes are introduced to systems and production solutions.
  • Identify gaps, unclear ownership or inefficient practices and help establish better ways of working.
  • Work with system managers and infrastructure colleagues to ensure the required compliance level is understood and maintained.
  • Contribute to training and capability building across the organisation.
  • Connect with compliance colleagues and relevant process groups to bring requirements and good practices into the local setup.

This is not a role where you will simply maintain an established compliance setup. Part of the opportunity is helping define how the organisation should work as the factory moves into a more mature operational phase.

Who you’ll work with

You will join the IT Operations team supporting a newly established production facility at our Kalundborg site and report to the Head of IT Operations.

Your closest partners will include system managers, infrastructure colleagues, project managers, engineering partners, production stakeholders and compliance specialists. You will also collaborate with compliance colleagues in neighbouring teams and broader process groups across the organisation.

The environment is still developing, so you will need to navigate changing interfaces, build relationships quickly and create clarity where responsibilities are not yet fully established.

What you can expect here

You will join at a point where your expertise can influence how IT compliance is embedded into daily operations.

You will work close to both production and IT, contribute to the transition from project to stable operations and build broad understanding across systems, compliance processes and stakeholders.

You will be trusted to bring your professional judgement, challenge assumptions when needed and help build a practical and sustainable compliance setup.
