The Position

As part of API Manufacturing 4, you will be integrated into a well-established network of experts and specialists. Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of equipment across various production processes, including fermentation, chromatography, centrifugation, filtration, and freeze-drying.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Optimizing equipment performance to enhance yield and stability
  • Managing GMP-related tasks such as change control, deviation handling, and qualification
  • Collaborating with the team to strengthen our maintenance strategies
  • Implementing cutting-edge technologies in relevant processes

 

In this role, you'll work closely with your colleagues, with a significant portion of your time spent on documentation and data processing.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

 

  • A relevant academic background, such as in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in equipment support, or technical support within production is an advantage.
  • A strong intuition for equipment and components.
  • Experience with GxP and/or similar quality systems.
  • A background in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated sectors.
  • Full proficiency in Danish and you can communicate effectively in English at a professional level.

 

As a person you are highly skilled at prioritizing tasks and excel in a dynamic, often unpredictable production environment where plans and priorities can change quickly. 

 

About the Department

At API Manufacturing 4, we produce life-changing medicines for patients with haemophilia, hormonal disorders, and other chronic conditions. As Novo Nordisk continues to expand its product portfolio, exciting new projects lie ahead.

The department you will be joining specializes in producing growth hormone as an API. Here, you'll become part of an equipment team dedicated to optimizing our operations. With around 20 colleagues, mainly from technical and engineering backgrounds, you'll find a collaborative and engaging work environment. Our production setup is complex, offering both flexibility and challenges, including the need to balance optimization with cost-efficiency, while ensuring safety, quality, and our commitment to patients and regulatory authorities.
