We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Project Controller to join PMO Support, as part of our Project Management Office.

 

 

 

The role

 

In this role, you will get the chance to support execution of investment projects for a rare disease product line serving patients worldwide. This is a hands-on role where financial acumen, project management knowledge and strong stakeholder collaboration are equally important.

 

You will be part of a vibrant team consisting of 12 highly skilled professionals plus several external consultants. You will work closely with our Project Portfolio Manager. Location - Kalundborg (Aseptic Manufacturing site).

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the budget processes and rolling estimates.
  • Financial planning, reporting & control of the department’s investment portfolio.
  • Support Project Managers in maintaining project budgets and other governance tasks e.g. risk management.
  • Perform accruals and reposting on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and external regulations.
  • Perform monthly/yearly financial closing for the investment portfolio.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve project financial processes, tools and templates.
  • Contribute to lessons-learned activities and support standardization across PMO practices.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and business cases for decision making.

 

 

Who we are looking for

 

To be considered for this role you have:

  • A solid financial background e.g. BSc, HD, MSc. Finance / Economics / Business Administration or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in project controlling, financial controlling, project coordination or related roles — ideally within pharma, manufacturing, engineering, or another regulated industry.
  • Strong financial analysis skills and proven experience with budgeting and forecasting. Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). SAP experience is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Danish.

 

On a personal level, you are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. A team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Finally, you are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
