The position

As our new Project Manager in the FVII API factory in Kalundborg, you will be responsible for actively driving and supporting multiple projects – from concept to implementation and follow-up. Your focus will be on the execution of investment projects supporting our FVII API strategy. In close collaboration with the teams in the department, you will identify, analyse, implement and track relevant business development projects. You will develop strong recommendations for our Management team and keep track of local investment portfolio.



To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or similar
  • +3 years of relevant experience managing projects, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Stakeholder management experience and a technical and analytical mindset
  • You are quality oriented and have an eye for details as you will work with written documentation
  • Full professional proficiency in English and read and speak Danish

Personality wise you have technical flair and are curious by nature. You are a good problem solver, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where there are always more problems to solve, and tasks to dive into. That is why it is important that you adapt easily and can switch between tasks quickly. We would also appreciate your open attitude and good sense of humour that you can bring to the team.

Moreover, you are communicative and enjoy taking initiative. You have a strategic vision and know how to articulate this vision to line of business, your peers and senior management. As a proficient communicator, you can provide clear and continuous updates on the development of projects. You are taking initiative and are actively driving recommendations for our business.

About the department

BRD Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark is located in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP). We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
