The position as Project Manager
We are looking for an additional Project Manager for the Utility to do project planning and schedule follow-up. Resource planning in terms of milestone activities Challenge solutions with a project cost and time centred focus, while motivating, coach and manage people in the team, supporting project activities in terms of investigating design, constructability, for a new production facility. The department consists of 3 sub departments: Engineering Management, Maintenance and Utility. In total approximately 70 colleagues of 12 different nationalities therefore ability to communicate and influence across cultures and mindsets are necessary.
The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class standards from other production facilities. You ensure traction in the Utility discipline by clear and timely communication, information, coordination and collaboration between employees and stakeholders such as Novo Nordisk’s Engineering Partner to ensure compliance with M3 project objective:
- Focus on providing efficient, and effective planning and execution of the project.
- Participate in commercial meetings with suppliers for the M3 Project.
- Manage interdependencies between project Work Packages.
- Ensure M3 strategies are implemented and anchored in own team and in M3 on cross-organizational assignments.
- Develop future competencies in your team, spot talent and foster a culture of “organic growth.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ professional experience.
- Holds an academic degree in engineering, data science or another relevant field.
- Structured and can balance multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrates good stake holder management abilities across organizational levels.
- Ability to establish cross organisational collaboration.
- You are proficient in both written and spoken English and an are good at doing presentations.
You are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks independently and seeking opportunities to take the next step in your career. You have excellent analytical, planning and organizing skills, which helps you to keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly.
You have the ability to network and know who to reach out to, build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. You are curious and eager to learn, and you challenge status-quo in a respectful way to ensure that pragmatic solutions are brought forward. This will require an independent approach combined with an agile mindset and good stakeholder management skills.
About the department
The Business Partner, M3 Production Support & Engineering is part of the M3 project, Novo Nordisk’s largest investment project to date. The project is in Kalundborg, Denmark, where we design and build future API facilities as multi-product facilities. The M3 team is a diverse group of approximately 300 talented colleagues from over 30 different national backgrounds.
