The Position
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving investment projects in a factory where we produce our newest GLP-1 products, and by that have a high impact on our production area Manufacturing 1 (M1) and Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (DAPI).

 

Your main responsibilities will be:
 

  • Driving both small and large strategic investment projects from initial idea to implementation and handover.
  • Conducting business cases to estimate project potential and driving the projects from start to end to ensure they are implemented, anchored within the line of business, and that results are harvested.
  • Inspiring and motivating the project team to deliver excellent results by ensuring clear project scope and timelines.
  • Managing the staffing of our project organization with relevant competencies from consultancy firms.
  • Identifying and managing risk as the project progresses.

 

You will primarily oversee one project at a time, collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels, necessitating a keen overview and exceptional communication skills. You will navigate high complexity and diverse organizational agendas adeptly. The project complexity will scale according to your competencies and capabilities.

 

Please, note that the role is a maternity cover until April 2025.

 

Qualifications 

We imagine that a successful candidate will have:

 

  • An academic or technical degree, e.g. natural science, pharmacy, biology, engineering or similar
  • Some years of experience as a project manager within production or another engineering area.
  • Profound insight into systematic problem solving.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

 

You are a self-motivated individual with strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, adept at setting direction and prioritizing effectively. Your logical ability enables smooth transformation of complex information from inception to completion. Your leadership and networking skills, along with your capacity to build trust and commitment among stakeholders, are complemented by excellent communication abilities. Your curious and respectful approach challenges the status quo, ensuring the swift emergence of pragmatic solutions, requiring an independent yet agile mindset and top-tier stakeholder management skills.

 

About the department
The world is changing fast and so are we. About 366 million people depend on our products, which leads to a great demand on rebuilding and improving the factory according to the Novo Nordisk strategy, and we need you on our journey! You will join M1 Business Support Projects, a part of our production area- M1, with a total of 570 employees in Kalundborg. You will become a part of a high-performing team that consists of project managers, project assistants and technical professionals, who together are responsible for portfolio management of projects that improves our facility and processes in both quality and capacity.
