The Position

As Project Director Utility Design and Execution, you hold overall project and leadership responsibility for investigating design, constructability, schedule and cost for the required utility installations across potential new API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) manufacturing facilities.

 

The installations will cover black and clean utilities including high pressure columns for the regeneration of ethanol. 


In this position you will:
•    Build a competent user-organisation
•    Integrate with engineering partners
•    Collaborate with contractors while supervising their activities 

 

Another responsibility is to manage any project risks proactively and develop standards to ensure structure and transparency.

Moreover, you will have a dual role as project and people manager and should hence excel in both disciplines and will manage your organisation and project by empowerment and delegation.

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you will have:
•    Technical background ideally supplemented by a degree within chemistry or engineering
•    6 years of experience within GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ideally API manufacturing
•    Experience in utility design and execution
•    Project management experience from cross-organisational project assignments
•    Knowledge about technology trends within bulk manufacturing
•    English proficiency (verbal and written)
