The Position
As a Product Architect, you will be paired up with different Architects from DD&IT covering Novo Nordisk’s core Aseptic Manufacturing Product Supply processes in our area.
You will get the opportunity to:
- Take the technical leadership and put your mark on the technical ambitions encapsulated in our Architecture. You will define, drive, and maintain the architecture, and ensure a harmonized and standardized system landscape, together with a dedicated project team.
- Lead and drive talks on the future of product operations in Novo Nordisk IT/OT landscape within Novo Nordisk and vendors.
- Collaborate with and guide colleagues across multiple automation and LoB organization areas, e.g., project and maintenance teams, system teams, Product Management and IT architects from other areas and sites on our Application Target Architecture and Architectural Principles.
The current Data landscape around these opportunities is diverse, with PAS-X, various L2/L1 systems (SCADA, Historian, stand-alone equipment etc.) as the primary global platforms and source systems.
What we are looking for
Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences:
- You have a Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Software Engineering or similar in experience
- Strong automation functional background (e.g., MES, WMS, SCADA, PLC)
- Experience within automation or IT architecture or aspiring to take that role working with integration platforms
- Experience with data harmonisation, publishing complex data to data lakes and data architecture
- Fluency in English and Danish

You are proactive and curious, visionary and want to take the lead in ensuring we deliver a future proof and solid IT architecture to our stakeholders.
About the department
The department provides IT & Automation support for our aseptic filling departments in Kalundborg. We are a team of 14 employees and work within IT/OT Architecture, OT Automation and IT Infrastructure. This site and department is delivering crucial product for patients around the world, and driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases.
