The Position
As a Process Engineer, you will join a dynamic team that provides support to manufacturing and project departments with process understanding, analyses, and systematic problem solving. Your focus will be on model development and ensuring timely communication and recommendation of outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a daily communication with schedulers of the factory, team leaders and directors, while still developing technical skills in simulations and model development.
The main tasks will be to:
• Support and troubleshoot production planning, schedule, and capacity.
• Develop, validate, and analyse models to support data-driven decision, while also performing model development and validation.
• Identify, ideate, and execute improvement-optimization projects.
• Define problem formulation, objective, and scope.
• Execute projects adhering to the agreed project plan.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
• A master’s degree or a PhD in chemical, logistics, industrial or mechanical engineering.
• 2-6 years of experience from a similar position and/or industry.
• Project management experience and/or knowledge, ability to analyse data and independently extract information.
• Understanding of how to convey complex information to varying audiences.
• Full professional proficiency in English, while having proficiency in Danish is nice to have.
As a person, you are a true team player, who has exceptional stakeholder management skills and a positive mindset. Having great communication skills, an open mind, with a high sense of responsibility is crucial in this role.

About the Department
Join our dynamic team of 20 engineers, data scientists, and students, where our mission is to empower informed decision-making and drive innovation in pharmaceuticals through Process Systems Engineering methods. Located in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, we focus on advanced data analysis, process modelling, and simulation to improve and optimize processes in Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients department (PS API). Our goal is to enhance capacity, cost, quality, and sustainability in our operations.
