The Position
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your own tasks by actively
contributing to the process design, optimization, and day-to-day operations. You will be a key member of the chemistry team, helping to get new equipment up and running, and validating processes. Following this phase, you’ll transition into our regular production team, taking ownership of specific areas of the process.
This position is a great opportunity to be part of starting up a brand-new API purification plant.
The main tasks will be to:
• Supporting daily operations and ensuring the stability of processes in an advanced and automated manufacturing environment.
• Addressing production challenges, validating processes, optimizing standards, and improving workflows.
• Actively participating in the commissioning phase by getting equipment up and running and validating processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures in the production processes.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with GxP and LEAN methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in biochemical production processes and knowledge within automation systems for production will be a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
As a person, you are highly organized, with a structured and systematic approach to your work. Additionally, your ability to collaborate and coordinate efficiently across teams will be crucial to your success in this role.
