The Position
The position requires a high degree of independence and a desire to set up the processes and equipment in our media production/propagation area in a new Fermentation facility.

 

Your role as Process Engineer will include: 

  • Professional responsibility for the equipment in a small-scale media production, including autoclaves. 
  • Supporting of the inoculation process
  • Support stakeholders by providing expertise and solutions to secure stabile production with the right quality 
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization of existing processes and equipment. This also entails being curious about how other teams and departments work, bringing new knowledge to the team, and sharing knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders in other teams and departments. 
  • Challenge existing processes in a respectful and constructive way, and be a professional mentor for colleagues in the team and department
  • Provide proactive support to the media production/propagation area when up running, ensuring daily operations and equipment always perform with highest output in the right quality

Qualifications
You are a strong collaborator across functions and systems. You have a can-do attitude, a solid understanding of equipment in the media production and propagation process and the analytical equipment to be applied. You are familiar with setting requirements to process and equipment, and you have demonstrated that you can take innovative ideas all the way from design over testing and installation to verification and qualification. Experience from collaboration with functions such as manufacturing development, engineering partners, analytical laboratories and manufacturing will be an advantage.

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • As a minimum a bachelor’s degree in sciences, engineering or similar.
  • Experience from relevant manufacturing processes, manufacturing development, production and/or the laboratory 
  • A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain, documentation, regulatory requirements, and GMP
  • English proficiency both verbal and written
