The Position
As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with the Chemists and Laboratory Technicians within the department and will be responsible for chemical analysis of products.
Our team members have an exciting and varied working day where we have influence on work and responsibility for ensuring that the team reach their targets. This could also be an opportunity to build a strong network within Novo Nordisk while developing your skills further.
The main tasks will be to:

Be responsible for one or several analyses at a given point of time.

Be required to drive minor improvement projects within the department.

Perform various compliance tasks, updating instructions and providing support to laboratories daily.

Support the Laboratory Technicians in their daily operations to ensure that the analytical performance and equipment live up to the industry standard.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you should:
-
Hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in natural sciences, engineering, pharmacology or similar.

Have knowledge of processing large amount of data, continuous improvement and experience working with chemical analysis from laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP regulated environment.

Be fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.
On a personal level, you are a well-educated professional with a great sense of curiosity, humour and structure. Having an open, positive mindset, while being a person who is both a team player and likes to work independently is crucial in this role.

About the department
In Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP-1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. We always have many exciting projects across Novo Nordisk - some require entirely new setups to utilise the opportunities in contemporary technology, while other are more focused on optimising existing setups.
In Purification Plants (PP) in Kalundborg we produce the active ingredients which are in many of Novo Nordisk’s products.
