The Position
As Manager for API Expansions, you will lead a team of 5 employees at our site in Kalundborg. The team supports our capacity expansion projects in API with projects on multiple locations in Denmark, United States and different new projects outside Denmark. You will have the opportunity and responsibility to build the team and drive the team culture.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Develop a high level of drive and commitment with the team to deliver the best possible support to our expansion projects
- Create a culture where everyone is ready to challenge methods, systems and processes
- Have the overall view to evaluate performance
- Set the direction for the team
Key tasks for the team to succeed with are:
- Create financial transparency and predictability to the CAPEX portfolio in API and for the cost of operating the new facilities
- Drive a high level of financial control and responsibility in the project organization
- Maintain a high level of financial compliance in API and improve systems and process to drive a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement
The tasks are generally of high complexity and require you to be a sparring partner to your employees, as well as to the project control functions across the API expansion projects and to the senior management teams in our expansion projects. You will work closely with your manager focusing on creating unity in the department and securing the long-term strategic direction.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An academic degree in finance, controlling or similar
- +3 years of experience within finance and preferably with investment management and controlling
- Demonstrate proven experience as a people leader who builds trust, drives engagement, and ensures team well-being
- Display fluency in both spoken and written English
- Showcase strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
You have strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to deliver with high quality under pressure. Your excellent stakeholder engagement skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels while driving agendas in an independent fashion.
It is crucial that you can motivate and engage your employees, preferably through your own strong commitment. You have calmness and control which cause your many stakeholders to perceive you as being professional and trustworthy, and that the employees want to follow you.
