The position

You will be the Manager for the Manufacturing Support team which consists of 12 dedicated employees with various business functions and subject matter experts. The key responsibilities for the team are timely release for filling, short- and long-term production planning, warehouse & raw materials, purchasing, data support, and project management to the rest of the department.

As Manager, you will play a key part in the development of your team and continuously improve performance as well as delivering excellent results. You will have the responsibility for coordinating and prioritising resources and tasks in the team, with the purpose to ensure fulfilment of our ambitions.   

 

Your main responsibilities will be focused on:

  • Ensuring that the team continuously develops
  • Leading the Business Support team by developing competencies, coaching, and training the employees to ensure the right composition of skills to address current and future needs
  • Securing quality and compliance of product and process and assist in further development of LEAN production
  • Setting objectives and targets to realize timely release of product
  • Stakeholder management (you will have a variety of stakeholders in multiple departments)

In addition, you will be a part of the ED Support management team and will work closely with your management colleagues on day-to-day operations and people management related matters.  

 

Qualifications 

To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A master’s degree in engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience  
  • Experience with production and/or the pharmaceutical industry
  • LEAN knowledge and experience
  • Professional proficiency in English. Danish would be an advantage

You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and in uncomplicated manner. Also, you have strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem solving. You are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality.

You will have several stakeholders across the organization and therefore your written and spoken communication skills in English must be excellent. To succeed you need to be able to keep a cool head and make decisions in a busy work environment where the agenda changes frequently.   

 

About the department 

You will be part of a dynamic business area which produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world.  Our main task is to produce Factor VII API to serve patient with Haemophilia and post-surgical bleedings.
