M2 IT Responsible

Your new role

As IT Responsible, you'll have end-to-end accountability for IT systems used in our production plant. You'll be the central point for system lifecycle management, compliance, and operational stability – ensuring that every system meets both business needs and stringent regulatory standards in a GMP environment.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • Holding overall accountability for assigned IT systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from implementation through operation, changes, and decommissioning
  • Ensuring continuous compliance with authority expectations, GMP, GAMP5, and IT security requirements
  • Owning and approving key system documentation, including URS, risk assessments, SOPs, and system governance documentation
  • Acting as the primary escalation point for system-related issues, risks, and compliance topics
  • Coordinating and approving changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities in collaboration with System Managers and stakeholders
  • Managing effective incident handling and problem resolution in alignment with ITIL principles
  • Participating in audits and inspections, presenting IT systems to internal and external auditors
  • Contributing to projects to ensure new or changed IT systems meet user, business, and regulatory requirements
  • Driving continuous improvements to system usage, compliance, and processes across IT, automation, and production teams

 

This role requires physical presence in Kalundborg, Denmark.

 

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

 

You'll join the IT Team, M2 in Kalundborg, part of the central IT organisation DD&IT PS API M2 & PPV IT Operations. We support production plants with compliant and stable IT/OT solutions. Our team consists of System Managers, IT Responsibles, and IT Infrastructure specialists who work closely with Production, Automation, and related departments across NNKA. Our production IT landscape includes PCS/DCS systems (e.g. SattLine), MES/MOM solutions (PROCOS), PLC-controlled equipment, and supporting IT platforms.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an IT Responsible who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and builds trust across organisational boundaries. You're proactive, quality-driven, and motivated by continuous improvement.

 

You'll bring with you:

 

  • MSc or BSc degree in IT, Automation, Computer Science, or similar – or equivalent experience
  • Experience with IT systems in a GMP-regulated production environment
  • Strong understanding of system ownership, compliance, and governance
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear messages for different stakeholders
  • Structured and analytical approach with a strong quality mindset
  • Experience or familiarity with ITIL processes (e.g. Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Fluency in English; Danish is considered a strong advantage
