The position 
In this role, your input will be crucial in advancing scientific understanding and driving innovation. We embrace methods with high biological variation and a demanding workflow. Our current methods include Bioassays, ELISA, DLS/SLS, PSD, THT test, FT-IR, Western blot, and Southern blot. 


Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure analytical flow in laboratory -analytical method will be introduced  one-by-one and may include bioassay, ELISA, southern blot, UV and fluorescence.
  • Participate in continuous optimization of our methods and our workflow
  • Validate assays to ensure reliable and reproducible results.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize assay performance for precise outcomes.


Your work will not only deepen our understanding of molecular interactions but also help us pave the way for robust methods and analytical results.

 

This position is a 2-year temporary position.


Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we imagine that:

  • You have an education as laboratory technician or equivalent
  • You have experience in laboratory work preferable within Bioassays, ELISA or spectroscopy
  • You have an ability to handle both the boundaries of a GMP environment, together with the uncertainty of unknown samples, experiments, optimizations.
  • It would be an advantage if you have an interest in automation, digitalization, or programming

 

The ideal candidate has several years of laboratory experience and interest in biological assays and/or biophysics.

About the department
PS API Manufacturing Development (MDev) is organized in Product Supply API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). The area holds a key position between development and production with responsibility to support and develop the different PS API production areas. In the department MDev analytical support, we support Quality Control laboratories and support process development by analyzing samples from our sister department MDev Process Support.
