The Position

As a LEAN Partner, you will act as a coach and strategic partner to our department leadership team. You will drive improvements in our LEAN systems and continuous improvement efforts. You will be instrumental in leading change management initiatives, guiding stakeholder engagement, and solving complex departmental challenges. You will also engage in a network with other LEAN partners across the factory.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Identifying, developing, and implementing new LEAN initiatives.
  • Providing coaching and training to our leaders and employees.
  • Driving our strategy process across the department with our leadership group.
  • Training employees in LEAN behavior and tools.

You will play a pivotal role as a project manager and facilitator of creative processes, driving optimization and change projects both locally and across the organization.

 

Qualifications

We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

  • An academic degree in economy, production engineering, or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in working with LEAN. Preferably experience in change management and coaching across various organizational levels.
  • Good data analysis skills and proficient communication skills in English with a good understanding of Danish (oral and written).
  • Your ability to engage in cross-organizational collaboration, conduct incisive analyses, and translate complex concepts into accessible language will be key.

We are seeking someone who can seamlessly blend their analytical competencies with strong people skills.  It is essential that you are comfortable working with data and possess the resilience to inspire and challenge others in a supportive and respectful manner.

 

About the Department

We are currently building a new factory, and our department will continue to expand over the coming years as we go from project phase to production. You will be part of the Production Support department in one of Novo Nordisk's biggest purification plants located in Kalundborg, Denmark. The department has three teams: one operator team and two support teams, and is intended to operate 24/7 to deliver high-quality products to other production departments within the factory PPV.
