The position
We are currently in the process of building a strong LEAN Partner team to take a major role in our journey towards robust production. As a member of our team of 8 problem solvers, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement by teaching, coaching, and communicating with our leaders and employees on the shopfloor.

The LEAN Partner is a main driver of ensuring a culture where current LEAN (cLEAN known internally) is the standard way of operating and promote the elimination of waste to improve our performance and deliverables. You will work closely with various departments to deploy the strategy and drive the necessary LEAN initiatives to ensure our processes are stable and act as a wingman to the departments in this capacity.
 

Main responsibilities include:

  • A focus of working on the shopfloor, facilitation of board-meetings and coaching of team leaders
  • Hands-on execution of A3, systematic problem solving as well as VSM´s.
  • Implementing cLEAN Supply System (CSS).
  • Train candidates in cLEAN1-star, A3 etc and coaching cLEAN 2-star candidates.
  • Driving and supporting the performance management and policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) processes in the department.

You will be identifying focus areas for process improvements and driving and supporting execution at department level which will involve facilitating and sharing best practices across the area and other CVP areas in BRD. 
 

The LEAN Partner is a key member of the cLEAN team which is anchored in the department of Operational Excellence (OPEX).
 

Qualifications
Your experiences include:

  • Preferably you hold an academic degree preferably with a relevant subject matter (engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management or project management).
  • Working on the shop floor and coaching leaders and employees.
  • Driving process improvements, implementing changes, designing, and executing LEAN transformations.
  • Proven leadership experience including sparring with leadership.
  • A LEAN toolbox, teaching LEAN principles, systems and tools and practical experience in analysing data and trends. 
  • Ideally you have experience from a production site, from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries.

You see yourself as a great inspirator, motivator and driven to impact change alongside colleagues. You have great communication skills with the ability to connect, engage, advise, and provide feedback to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.  Fluency in spoken and written English is required, proficiency in Danish is a bonus.
 

About the department
Finished Products site Kalundborg is part of Biotech & Rare Disease. At our site in Kalundborg, we are more than 650 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimise our processes and invest in the latest technology.
