Do you want to play a key role in shaping investment decisions in one of Novo Nordisk’s largest production environments? As Investment Finance Partner, you will be at the centre of major investment projects, providing financial insight, transparency and challenge that directly influence senior decision-making. This is a high-impact role where your financial expertise helps turn complex data into clear, actionable direction.

 

Your new role

As Investment Finance Partner, you will be driving the financial agenda, ensuring full financial compliance and transparency across multiple investment projects focused on optimization of the production facilities in M1.

You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across M1, providing financial transparency and clear recommendations used for decision making. You will be running the yearly budget process including month-end and year-end closure and ensure that financial implications are fully understood and actionable.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Present monthly financial results to M1 management and the PMO team.
  • Prepare financial reports and scenarios to be presented at project governances.
  • Lead the monthly cost review process and challenge project managers (PMs) on variances and actions.
  • Ensure strong understanding of the financial impact of CAPEX and OPEX; drive the accrual process, including validation and posting of journal entries.
  • Review and control project costs, including project capacity-related costs.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update required guidelines and documentation.
  • Drive timely project closure and capitalization activities.
  • Strong system knowledge, including SAP, Internal Novo Nordisk systems like Coupa and Clarity and intermediate/advanced Excel skills.

 

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you bring both strong financial expertise and the ability to influence at senior level. We imagine that the ideal candidate: 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar
  • Have significant experience in finance business partnering, ideally within a global organization
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into clear insights
  • Have a strong understanding and experience working with CAPEX/OPEX activities
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration.

  

About the department

You will be a part of a Business Support Department in one of our production facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark. The department consists of app. 50 highly engaged employees divided into 4 different teams. The department is supporting productions within Supply Chain, Finance, Training, Logistics & Warehouse, procurement, production planning, and environment. Our main goal is to support our factory with the best possible business support, within our areas of responsibility. We are working closely together with our colleagues across the factories and the central business support function.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 570,200 to 838,100, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
