The position:

As Infrastructure Project Manager you will be working on various projects and tasks that are crucial for the cohesion between the infrastructure and the production facilities at site Kalundborg. We are facing a significant infrastructure upgrade to enable the major production expansions. Together with stakeholders, engineering partners and suppliers you will:  

  • Prepare, plan and execute various types of projects
  • manage scope, plan, schedule, costs and project risks
  • Align infrastructure related activities across the site together with your department colleagues

 The job requires a high level of stakeholder management at all organisational levels in the company. You will interface with external and internal stakeholders including the public sector. As this is a newly established position, you will get impact on the role and the responsibility of the position.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

  • Relevant project management experience with projects (e.g., related to utility infrastructure, building constructions or like).
  • Solid understanding of project management tools and systems
  • Relevant educational background as Master of Engineering, Constructing Architect, Engineer or similar.
  • Knowledge of various supply categories as steam, cooling, heating, water, etc.
  • Experience with managing contracts and a complex vendor setup would be an advantage.

On a personal level, we imagine you supplement your robust personality with a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You can work independently as well as in a team environment. In addition, you have:

  • experience with managing numerous and changing priorities effectively
  • a good understanding of the importance of paying attention to details
  • strong project management and people manager skills
  • great communicator and relationship builder abilities
  • expert ability to work at a both tactical & strategic level

About the department

The position as Infrastructure Project Manager is placed in Business Support at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to 30.000 employees worldwide. The API Business Support consists of about 130 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At site Kalundborg we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
