The Position
The project you will be working on is of high strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have high visibility and support from Senior Management. The job requires high level of stakeholder management at all organizational levels in the company. Together with engineering partners and suppliers you implement IT & OT solutions across a broad system landscape that ranges all the way down to the infrastructure level, to the automation and robotic systems, up to ERP. You supervise construction and commissioning of Infrastructure, IT and OT systems. You manage scope, plan, costs and project risks and secure excellent end user experience.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will secure leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to the broader project team. You will have to manoeuvre between traditional waterfall project methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will work closely together with the different agile delivery teams across the organization and our external partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Project Manager who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in most of the following skills & experiences:
- 8+ years of experience as Project Manager, preferably within IT & OT in projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry or other regulated industries.
- You have a MSC or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar.
- Experience with IT & OT implementations and IT infrastructure preferably in pro-duction areas.
- You have experience from a large global company and are used to working with different cultures.
- You have managed a complex vendor & stakeholder setup.
On a personal level have strong project management and people skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You can handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on learning and delivering strong results. You are structured and ambitious about your projects and are interested in growing your skills as well as expertise to lead the way. You can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator of others. You thrive in a multicultural environment and have excellent communication skills written and orally English is a must.
About the department
You will be working in our IT/OT Project Execution team, while also being an integrated part of the expansion project organization.
The IT and Automation Department is a diverse team and made up of individuals with a variety of nationalities and professional experiences. The team atmosphere is very inclusive, and the team members support each other in getting acclimated to Novo Nordisk and life in Kalundborg. You will find the team inviting and collaborative in finding solutions and supporting each other’s tasks. Due to the fast pace of project life, our team is very dynamic and is able to shift priorities in order to support project milestones.
