The Position

DD&IT PS API is looking for the next addition to our IT Core team. As an IT Security and Operation Specialist, you will:

  • Drive and develop IT Security and risk across API, including proposing concrete improvement initiatives such as firewall management and monitoring.
  • Lead communication of IT Security and risk with line management and IT professionals.
  • Actively contribute to the IT Risk process in API and ensure coherence with NN-IT security.
  • Ensure governance for API and plan/execute workshops on complex areas within IT security.
  • Ensure IT operation processes are in control and developed in API, guiding and supporting entire API IT organisation in adoption of IT requirements.
  • Facilitate implementation of new central IT SOPs and templates across API, ensuring the API IT training setup corresponds to IT roles.
  • Manage cross functional IT projects and initiatives in API related to IT security, IT risk, and IT operation, including project management of IT improvement projects and setting direction for local competences and development initiatives.

 

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • MSC, MBA or similar graduate degree in relevant field (e.g. Engineering, or Computer Science) or have received similar skills by working experience.
  • Expertise in driving and developing IT Security and risk across API, including proposing and implementing improvement initiatives such as firewall management and monitoring.
  • Proven experience with all aspects of IT - from specification and implementation to daily operation and maintenance.
  • Strong track record in managing cross-functional IT projects and initiatives related to IT security, IT risk, and IT operation, including project management and setting direction for local competences.
  • Strong business understanding from production, IT, and business administration within pharmaceutical/regulated industry.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

 

On a personal level you excel in building and maintaining relationships to cultivate trust and alignment with key opinion leaders. Your ability to simplify the communication of strategic alternatives for highly complex matters, both in written and verbal presentations, makes intricate concepts accessible and actionable. Additionally, you bring confidence to local stakeholders regarding their comprehension of relevant IT requirements, ensuring clarity and buy-in. Your adeptness at adapting and using appropriate business language tailored to various stakeholder groups enables effective and targeted communication.

 

About the team

You will be joining DD&IT PS API (Product Supply, Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients), which supports Novo Nordisk’s API manufacturing sites. API is responsible for manufacturing insulin and GLP-I based products and our API manufacturing facilities are among the largest in the world, handling fermentation, recovery, and purification of API.

As part of the IT Team, you will be working with a global organization covering API sites in both Denmark and USA. You will have the support of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the success of our operations and large expansions projects. You will be part of a large, growing organization that works both physically together and in virtual teams.
