IT & Automation Project Manager

About the department

You will be a part of Diabetes care Finished Products (DFP) with approximately 6.000 employees across 7 production sites in 5 countries. We are the last step in the supply chain before our products are being shipped to patients worldwide. In DFP Kalundborg we are approximately 250 employees responsible for packing the diabetes products on our fully automated production lines.

 

The position

As a Project Manager, you will be handling projects of different sizes and scopes related both to compliance, development and technical improvements on both existing diabetes finished product lines as eventually new lines. The projects will primarily be within our organization but can vary over times as the portfolio changes. Also, you will be contributing to the ongoing technology optimization and improvement of our processes and equipment.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving projects supporting the project portfolio and secure the strategic alignment.
  • Handling the projects from conceptual designs, purchasing of equipment to installations and commissioning.
  • Driving projects aiming to implement new technology and IT systems to optimize processes
  • Creating project plans with appropriate levels of detail and present these plans to the management.
  • Provide clarity on responsibilities and expectations in your project-team and set the tone when it comes to feedback procedures, meeting structure and the routines of collaboration.
  • Providing timely and relevant updates on project status for all key stakeholders, reporting and adjusting for any deviations from your plans as you advance the projects.

 

Qualifications

As a Project Manager, you have strong stakeholder managements skills and a proactive and optimistic attitude that makes people engaged in the project. In addition to that, you make solid plans, knowhow to motivate your team members as difficult challenges arise, and furthermore you show the way by having a can-do attitude. You convey your authority effortlessly, and you earn the trust and respect of the people you work with. Finally, you are pragmatic in your approach - while prioritising to stay within scope and budget.

 

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have some of the below experiences:

  • Ideally, you hold a minimum bachelor degree, and maybe you’re newly graduate.
  • Preferably you have some experience within IT, automation, or Project management.
  • It is an advantage, if you have worked in a regulated and automated production environment.
  • Preferably, you have a broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise.
  • Preferably you are familiar with project management models and you know your way around process optimization and have a profound understanding of Process Performance Qualification and Lean.
  • You can communicate in fluent English and communicative Danish.

 

In this position there will be the opportunity for partial homework, but since the position requires close contact with the production and vendors, will it at times require you to be physically present and ready to travel to vendors.
