The Position
You will be tasked with ensuring the optimal performance of our HVAC systems while collaborating with colleagues in both maintenance and production. You will join a highly skilled HVAC team as the fourth member, alongside our equipment lead, a BMS/HVAC supporer, and a HVAC technician. Your expertise will be essential for problem-solving, facilitating systematic root cause analysis, and developing corrective and preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure and improve the effectiveness of planned maintenance for HVAC equipment.
- Systematically resolve issues and provide technical support regarding HVAC systems across all of M1.
- Enhance productivity by optimizing maintenance strategies and improving equipment performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Increase the use of online monitoring systems to ensure equipment integrity and support predictive maintenance, driving productivity improvements.

- Offer design and component recommendations in support of large-scale capacity projects.
- Facilitate Life Cycle Management initiatives to ensure the long-term reliability of HVAC systems.
As this position is highly visible, you’ll have the opportunity to build a broad network and improve effectiveness across production and maintenance. When challenges fall outside the expertise of your team, you’ll collaborate with other departments, gaining valuable insights that you can transform into practical solutions with clear and achievable goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- An educational background in Engineering (such as Maskinmester) or a related field.
- A strong interest in HVAC systems and teamwork.
- Relevant experience, ideally in production optimization or equipment operation/maintenance – though we prioritize mindset and transferable skills.
- Familiarity with LEAN and GxP practices, which are a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English; Danish proficiency (or a willingness to learn) is an advantage.
You should have natural curiosity for solving technical problems and driving sustainable improvements in maintenance and production processes. You are mindful of energy efficiency and environmental considerations. Strong stakeholder management and systematic problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to explain, educate, and mentor others about technical concepts.
As a person, you excel at setting clear goals and motivating others with your ideas, turning vision into practical results. You are comfortable working within the regulatory framework of pharmaceutical production and eager to expand your knowledge in this area. You possess the ability to build trust and foster knowledge-sharing among colleagues.
As an active listener, you ask insightful questions to collect the essential details needed to tackle technical challenges methodically. Additionally, you communicate effectively, focusing on precision and maintaining high standards of quality.
