Your new role

As Finance Controller, you'll be the trusted financial advisor to our Kalundborg manufacturing leadership team, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive both performance and patient impact. This is finance that matters—where your analysis directly influences how we scale production of life-saving medicines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Partnering closely with site leadership to develop financial strategies that support ambitious production scale-up plans while maintaining operational excellence
• Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial plans align with manufacturing capacity and strategic priorities
• Providing financial analysis and business case development for capital investments, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives
• Monitoring and reporting on key financial and operational KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
• Acting as the bridge between the local site and global finance functions, ensuring compliance while advocating for site needs
• Supporting month-end closing activities and financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness
• Driving cost optimization initiatives that balance efficiency with quality and patient safety

In Global Manufacturing Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Our Kalundborg site is a cornerstone of our global manufacturing network, playing a vital role in producing medicines that reach millions of patients worldwide. As we experience significant growth, the finance team here works hand-in-hand with operations, quality, and technical teams to ensure we scale sustainably while maintaining the highest standards. You'll be part of a collaborative finance community that values both analytical rigor and business partnership.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a Finance Controller who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on financial execution. You should bring:

• A relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling, business partnering, or financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities - you know how to build trust and influence decision-making at all levels
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly valued
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently while being a strong team player
