The Position


As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in owning and driving financial support to project managers and the project portfolio manager. You will be responsible for driving project-controlling activities across our large investment portfolio and identifying opportunities to improve our financial reporting and performance through curiosity.


Your responsibilities will include:


•    Driving project-controlling activities across our large investment portfolio.
•    Being part of a team in Business Support based in Kalundborg, covering both business and project controlling as well as purchasing.
•    Solid stakeholder management, including effectively communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
•    General cost controlling, month-end closing, budget & forecast, understanding and analyzing financial deviations, and ensuring financial compliance.

Qualifications
 

To be successful in this position, you should have: 
•    An academic degree in Finance or Accounting
•    Experience as a Financial Controller, Project Controller, or similar, preferably from a production environment and/or project environment. 
•    Excellent command of written and spoken English 
•    Experienced in using Excel and PowerPoint and preferably some experience in SAP or Alteryx. 
As a person, you will thrive in the job if you can think critically and enjoy stakeholder engagement. You can communicate and present complex financial statements at all levels of the organization. You have strong analytical skills. You are a team player, but at the same time possess an independent drive, and have a can-do mindset. You are also structured and attentive to details while maintaining a broad overview.

 

About the department


You will join M2 Business Support in Kalundborg, Denmark, where we are approx. 700 colleagues working in Fermentation, Recovery, Purification, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Business Support. M2 Business Support has the overall responsibility of project execution, energy & environmental processes, training, document support, automation & IT, cLEAN, finance, controlling, and technical purchasing.
